COURSE OVERVIEW

Prepping a Bride for her Big day is a task in itself but rewarding in so many ways! Your brides makeup should compliment her outfit and should look like herself but accentuated as opposed to looking like a whole other person for her big day. You should be able to translate your client's vision on their faces. But the most important aspect to a bridal makeup is it stays tear proof and sweat proof throughout  the day! After all as opposed to saying “I do “ these are big fat Indian wedding we are talking about! So join this course if you want to be remembered for not just making your bride look like her most stunning self for one of the most special days of her life but also for making your entire time with her an experience she'll never forget and that my love, will set you apart from EVERY other Bridal Makeup Artist there is!

SYLLABUS

 

  • Prepping of Skin :

       Prepping of skin for different  skin types and a long lasting primer.

 

  • Color Correction :

       Correcting skin for pigmentation , redness , dark spots , blemishes , marks etc.

​

  • Concealing :

       Concealing and brightening various areas of the face.

 

  • Foundation :

       Picking the correct foundation shade for the client.

​

  • ​Setting :

       Multiple techniques to make the base and makeup look flawless/airbrushed and last for minimum 10-14 hours without

       touch-up.

 

  • Smokey Eyes :                                                                                                                                                                                  Classic Black Smokey eye. Smokey eye makeup with 2, 3, 4 and more colours mix.

  • Halo Smokey Eyes :

       A beautiful technique to make eyes ​appear larger and rounder.

​

  • Glitter Application :​

       Multiple uses to glitter to combine with other techniques to enhance a look or to even just use on its own.

​

  • Types of Liners :

       Different styles of liners for bridal looks.​

​

  • Cut Crease Smokey Eye :

   ​    One of the top trending looks on Instagram and a favourite with today's brides who love that dramatic look. Learn how to               

       create half cut-crease, full cut crease and variations of both to either keep it subtle or go all out glam.

​

  • Contour :

       Contouring the face for a more symmetrical looking face. 

 

  • Blush : 

       Choosing the right shade of blush, right area of application, multiple techniques of application.

​

  • Highlight :

       Brightening certain areas of face to give that radiant bridal glow.

​

  • Lips :

       Choosing the right shade for the client for a beautiful pout and how to make it last through all the 'Taam - Jhaam' !

  • Client Consultation

       From how to ask questions, what questions to handling every situation like a professional with a smile to learning how to                     

       understand your clients requirements and give them what they need.

  • How to Build Your Professional Kit

       What to invest in to how to choose.

​

  • How to be a Successful Freelancer

       A-Z on how to turn your hobby/passion into a full time job that pays well and is simply rewarding.

FEES & DETAILS

Course Fee : INR 85,000*

​

Payment Plan :

​

  •  50% advance to be paid at the time of booking.

  • The remaining 50% to be paid no later than a week before the classes commence.

  • The advance is non-refundable in case of cancellation, change in time and date.

​

  • Products and brushes for learning will be provided.

​

TERMS & CONDITIONS :

PAYMENT

​

  • Deposits are non-refundable. However, a deposit can be transferred to the next available course provided a minimum 3 weeks written notice to course date given.

​

  • Should a student fail to attend a confirmed course or complete the course for any reason ( such as illness, personal problems, change of location, etc ) no refunds of deposits or fees will be made, and no transfer of course dates will take place.

​

  • The MBZ School of Makeup reserves the right to re-schedule the course and no refund will be payable.

​

  • Students will not be accepted on course commencement date if full balance of course has not been paid.

​

  • All Courses and fees are subject to change without prior notice.

​

  • All amounts exclusive of GST. 

​

ATTENDANCE

​

  • ​Students should arrive on time or contact the school at the earliest opportunity if they expect to be late.

​

  • The MBZ School of Makeup reserves the right to withhold certification to students without regular attendance, or the minimum required standard.

​

  • Time off for religious holidays, booked holidays, planned weddings, medical appointments, etc. must be discussed and agreed before application. We recommend that all absence be avoided where possible.

​

  • Students must notify the School of any medical conditions or special requirements they may have.

​

  • Students leave personal belongings at the School at their own risk. The School accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage.

​

GENERAL BEHAVIOUR

​

  • Students should not remove any materials from the School without prior consent.

​

  • Theft of School/Studio property is not tolerated and will result in expulsion with no money being refunded.

​

  • Any damage to The School/Studio property caused by the student will be chargeable.

​

  • For the Complete Professional Makeup Certificate you will be provided with a Pro Brush Set. The MBZ School of Makeup accepts no responsibility for lost of misplaced brushes.

​

  • Respect and professionalism towards staff members and fellow classmates is a required behaviour within and outside the classroom.

​

  • All facilities should be left in an acceptable state.

​

WORK AND ASSISTING OPPORTUNITIES

​

  • All work and assisting opportunities are subject to availability and up to The MBZ School of Makeup's discretion when placing positions.

​

  • All work and assisting opportunities are available to MBZ graduates who have successfully completed and received a certificate.

​

  • If you do not show up to your booked opportunity, MBZ will not be able to offer you any more work or assisting opportunities.

​

  • Any kind of misbehaviour or indiscipline will result in loosing out on further work and assisting opportunities with MBZ and loss of pay for the day if it is a paid project.
